We serve an ever increasing range of specialist teas with names as amazing as they taste.

Our teas are served in tea pots designed by Alison with infusers to ensure the tea you drink is perfectly brewed.

BLACK TEA

Black tea is the most processed of all the teas and the most popular variety in the UK. The four stage process involves; withering, rolling, oxidation & firing (drying).

 

GK BREAKFAST BLEND

Black tea; Indian, Ceylon & Chinese. A very smooth traditional blend of full flavoured Indian & Chinese fine black teas. Perfect with milk or without. This tea has no astringency if brewed correctly. 

 

DECAFFEINATED ENGLISH BREAKFAST

Decaffeinated using the C02 method.

 

LAPSANG SOUCHONG

Black tea. Winston Churchill’s favourite tea, Lapsang is smoked over pine wood. Historically it has been a favourite on British Afternoon Tea menu’s. Not to be taken with milk.

 

EARL GREY

Chinese Keemun black tea & Sicilian Bergamot. Black Tea Blend. A classic blend of Chinese Keemun & Sicilian Bergamot, there are lots of stories about who had the idea of blending these two ingredients!!

 

GENTLEMAN’S TOFFEE

Black Tea Blend. Assam black tea & Caramel drops. This is a blend of rich & malty Assam with caramel drops. It makes a lovely toffee, vanilla tasting brew. Lovely without milk but is tasty with it too.

 

BLACK RUSSIAN

Black Tea Blend. Black tea, orange & almond. A robust blend of black teas with orange & almond. Contains Nuts.

 

MINT CHOC CHIP 

Black tea, cocoa husk & mint. This chocolate and mint infusion is full of flavour, but very light, great as an after dinner drink, as its aids digestion and has a sweet taste. Contains Nuts

 

Apricot Champagne 

A blend of black teas, mixed with a champagne reduction, apricot and verbascum blossoms.

 

CHOCOLATE CHAI 

Black Tea Blend. Black tea, masal chai spices and cocoa husks. All the spice you would expect in a chai beautifully combined with seriously rich dark chocolate tea. This is a firm favourite.

 

CHOCOLATE TRUFFLE 

Black Tea Blend. Black tea mixed with hazelnut and cocoa husk. Contains Nuts.

AYURVEDIC & HERBAL 

Ayurvedic medicine is a system of traditional Hindu medicine, native to the Indian subcontinent. Contemporary practices derived from Ayurvedic traditions, are a type of alternative medicine. There is some debate over how effective it is but these brews taste very good!

 

PURE PEPPERMINT

Pure peppermint. A pure dried mint infusion that is refreshing and known to be good for digestion.

 

FIRST AID

This is an aromatic ayurvedic infusion combining baby fig, pineapple, fennel, camomile, vervain & liquorice. It is great for an upset stomach, colds, helps insomnia and also as a splendid fasting aid.

HERBAL & FRUIT INFUSION

Our fruit infusions are created by using big chunks of dried fruits, which when infused, make a great alternative to traditional teas. Bursting with fruity flavour and all caffeine free.

 

APPLE & BLUEBERRY 

Fruity blueberry & pomegranate are blended with apple, hibiscus, elderberry, rose hip and cornflower. A summer fruit blast full of flavour for anytime of year.

 

APRICOT PEACH BLUSH

Peach and Apricot pieces.  A rosey, ripe peach infusion.

 

KRISHNA KRUSH

Spiced Turkish apple blended with ginger, turmeric, apple, mango, orange and pineapple pieces. 

 

CAMOMILE

Pure, finest camomile. A sweet and soothing infusion perfect for bedtime.

GREEN TEA

Green tea is ‘unoxidised’ so no chemical change occurs during processing. In China it is picked by hand and often hand rolled. It was revealed as a healthy drink after scientists researched the lives of the World’s oldest people living in Japan and found that green tea was an essential feature of their diet.

 

SONG - ORGANIC CHINESE GREEN TEA

Green tea. Sweet and earthy, Song is a perfect introduction to Green Tea. Brewed correctly it has no astringency.

 

GEISHA’S KISS

Green Tea Blend. Japanese green tea & red fruit. One of our most popular blends is a mix of fine Japanese green teas, blended with red fruit to give it a delicate sweet finish.

 

LEMON LOVES GINGER

Green Tea Blend. Green tea, lemon and ginger. Sweet and spicy, good for digestion and a pick me-up.

ROOIBOS

Rooibos or Redbush tea comes from a plant grown in South Africa. It is naturally caffeine free and can be processed like tea, making green rooibos or the more traditional red rooibos.

 

TWINKLE TWINKLE 

Green rooibos, lemongrass and coriander. This green rooibos blended with lemongrass and coriander is an old favourite with our customers. It makes a zesty, refreshing detoxifying brew. Helps you find your sparkle!

 

CHERRY CUPID ROOIBOS 

Red rooibos, cherry & almond. Red rooibos blended with fruity cherry & almond. Contains Nuts.

 

TOFFEE APPLE ROOIBOS

Roasted caramel and fruity, fresh green apple, almond pieces, blended with rooibos. Contains Nuts.

For coffee lovers, we have grind on demand 100% Arabica Fairtrade coffee beans to give a range of great coffees. We proudly support The Christie charity with a contribution from every drink sold. 

All our coffees come as a double shot as standard (ask if you prefer single shot).  We have decaffeinated coffee and soya milk on request (at no extra charge!)
